As I've mentioned before - I'm proud of this poem. I have taken a long time trying different beats against it and I have performed it twice now on stage without music. I wanted it to get the thumbs up from Buzz from Somewhere off Jazz Street before I let this one go, but the thumbs are up and I think I may be finally there with it. Wonderful. Heard this at the ‘gin bar’ but the atmosphere now created by the music, places the listener right there in the intimacy of their meeting and her shock at his words. Brilliant.

Love it, Kiersty. Well written and well performed. The music absolutely helped create that smokey bar atmosphere.
